Because Kindness Matters

The world is full of arrogant, entitled, and selfish people. People who think only of themselves and never of anyone else. You can be the worlds most beautiful person, but if you have zero humility and worse, aren’t even kind, no one will see the beauty on the outside but the inside is truly what counts. You attract what you put out into the world. If you’re kind, you’ll find kindness. If you love, you’ll find love. If you are empowered, you’ll find empowerment. Inspire what you want in return.

I’m not saying that the world is going to be easier, but the world does have a way of giving you what you put out there. I would rather keep a pretty heart, an intelligent mind, and be graceful and poised than lack common sense, be tactless, and put ugly out into the world even if I’ve been put through hell and back, which I have been. I still am going to stay humble and kind and do what I can to make the world just a slightly better place at the end of the day.

I’m the friend who is going to build you up, help give you a village, inspire you to be your best version of you because I believe in you. I’m the person who is going to encourage you, challenge you in good ways, laugh with you, cry with you, and be there for you. Even if you aren’t close by, you can count on me.

I’m the stranger you pass who is going to hold the door open at the gas station, help you out to your car if you’re struggling with littles and it’s down pouring rain, pass along a smile, say hello. Why? Because I have no idea what you’re dealing with in life and just a little act of kindness can go a long way.

I am the person who is going to show up, open my doors for you, pour you a cup of hot coffee and just sit with you. I’m the person who’s going to show you that there is still kindness in the world.

You want to see change, be the person who starts the change. Be your best version not because you have to be but because you chose to be despite what you’ve been through in life.
