Home: About Me

Sometimes It Needs To Rain

I love the rain. I find peace in it. When I can fall asleep listening to the sounds of rain, nothing is more relaxing than that. If God is going to pour down on me an unimaginable amount of rain where it feels like I’m drowning, I’m just going to have to learn to build because I’m going to build an ark and keep going until the rain clears. You can’t always chose what happens to you in life, but you 💯 can chose how you respond to what happens to you in life. Remember, when th

We Just Don’t Know

You have no idea what comes next. None of us do. We wake up and we likely do the same things day after day and it’s easy to not stop and appreciate having woke up. It’s easy to get dragged down into the daily world of sleep, eat, work, shower, repeat. It’s easy to get lost in the mundane of work, kids, life. But everything can change in a split second. It can go from bad to worse or from worse to good or good to great. You can win the lottery. You can get that job promotion.

Because Kindness Matters

The world is full of arrogant, entitled, and selfish people. People who think only of themselves and never of anyone else. You can be the worlds most beautiful person, but if you have zero humility and worse, aren’t even kind, no one will see the beauty on the outside but the inside is truly what counts. You attract what you put out into the world. If you’re kind, you’ll find kindness. If you love, you’ll find love. If you are empowered, you’ll find empowerment. Inspire what

I’ll Be Here

There are friendships that don’t end with a fight. They end with silence. Not because love ran out—but because someone else decided it should. You didn’t walk away from me because you stopped caring. You walked away because you were surviving a relationship that slowly convinced you that connection was dangerous. That talking was risky. That explaining yourself would cost you peace. That loving your friends somehow meant betraying your partner. I saw it. Even when you didn’t

The Ripple I Choose To Be

People have asked me why I help others when I’m struggling myself. The answer is really simple. When I was at my lowest—when I was tired, overwhelmed, hurting—people still showed up for me. They didn’t wait until life was easy or their own cups were overflowing. They showed up anyway. And that kind of love changes you. It rewires something in your soul. I’m a firm believer in giving more than you take, or at the very least, paying it forward whenever you can. Not because it’s

Never Too Old

The idea that you're not too old to start over, but you are too old to keep doing what isn't working, suggests that it's never too late to make a change and pursue new opportunities. Here are some tips for starting over: •Stop waiting: The perfect moment will never come, so start now. •Take risks: Risks can lead to new paths and rewards. •Be willing to change: You can't make progress without being willing to change. •Embrace continuous learning: The process of learning and a

Mrs. Newcomb

I’m unapologetically a husbands girl! When I’m sad - I want my husband If I’m anxious - I need him next to me Stressed out - He’s my calm If I’m sick - He’s the one taking care of me Proud moment to celebrate - He’s my #1 cheerleader Just heard hot gossip - He’s the first one I run to with all the tea When I’m happy - That’s because of HIM He’s my bestfriend, my security blanket, and my home. I will never not need him by my side ❤️

I’m Done

🚫 I'M DONE EXPLAINING MYSELF. ✋🏻 It took me too long to understand that no matter how much I explain my side, some people will twist it to fit their narrative. I used to pour my heart out, desperately hoping they’d see the truth, but I’ve learned the hard way—if someone truly wanted to understand, they wouldn’t make me beg for it. If you’ve already decided I’m the villain in your story, fine. I’m not going to keep bending over backwards trying to prove I’m good enough, wort
